How do I file an extension 2350. I currently live/work in Japan and when I try to file for one it says its too late. Should I file one on paper instead for 2018?

It is not too late for the 2018 return. It is too late for the 2017 return. You can file electronically. Make sure to read the details from the IRS instructions to make sure this form applies to your situation.

Hi, thank you for your answer. I'm still trying to file it electronically but it's still saying I can't. If this keeps going, should I just file by paper instead?
