It is giving me an error on my control number but i put in what is listed on my W2. I checked last years W2 also and it is the same

The control number (box D) is actually not required to enter your W-2 or complete your tax return. You can simply leave this number field blank or skip this question of TurboTax, click Continue and you will be directed to manually enter your W-2.
