Additional added fees may be due to
any add-ons you may have selected while completing your return. The $39.99 fee is the pay-with-your-refund option
(also known as Refund Processing) rather than choosing to pay your fees with a

If you selected to have your TurboTax
fees deducted from your federal fund, there could be an additional fee for the
processing.
You can view a breakdown of your
TurboTax charges by signing in to your online return. Once you have signed in
and selected to continue your return, select Tools from the My Account
drop-down list in the upper right corner.
In the pop-up window, select My Fees
to get a breakdown of your TurboTax charges.
You can remove any add-ons before you
pay by selecting the individual add-ons you are not interested in.
If you want to remove your Premium
Services, you need to do so before completing your order (but you don’t need to
clear and start over). Also, just changing your payment method to a credit card
won't automatically remove these services.
