If my child support arrears are more than my refund will they take all of it? I owe about 12,000 in back support and my total refund is 1542.00 for state and 6700. Fed??

It depends.  They will take both to pay off the child support payment that are in arrears, if the Department of Child and Family service (DCFS) or the courts has filed this information with the State and IRS.  If the DCFS/the courts has not filed this information with them, you will receive your refund.

It depends.  They will take both to pay off the child support payment that are in arrears, if the Department of Child and Family service (DCFS) or the courts has filed this information with the State and IRS.  If the DCFS/the courts has not filed this information with them, you will receive your refund.
