It depends, if all of the forms used on your tax return are available for filing then yes, you can file your taxes now and they will be held until the IRS opens on 1/29/2018. Once the IRS opens the return will then be processed.

If any of the forms used on your return have not been finalized, then you will need to log in at a later date and finish your return.
