Hi. I am using the desktop version of TurboTax 2022. When I enter an amount in the 1099-DIV input screen in the Box 1B - Qualified Dividends field and press continue, the amount does not appear on the Your 2022 Income Summary screen. If I go back to the “Here’s the dividend info we have so far” screen, it only shows the columns for Capital Gain Distributions, Exempt Dividends, and Ordinary Dividends, but if I click Edit on my entry, the value I entered into Box 1B - Qualified Dividends is there. Why is the qualified dividends entry not appearing on the other screens?
Thank you

Box 1b is included in box 1. It is only the portion (or all) of the amount in box 1a that may be eligible for capital gains rate.

in other words you must enter box 1 for all dividends and box 1b for the qualified portion which will appear on line 3a of the 1040
