Is working extra shifts for extra pay designated as a raise/bonus, overtime, or something else?

It is usually designated as Overtime if you work more than 40 hours in a week.  It should be reported on your W2.

Designate it where?  It should be in your regular income on your W2.  Or are they paying you separately and not taking taxes out?  Then it might be 1099NEC self employment income.
