Is there an extra fee for using a credit or check card in addition to the 29.99 state turbo tax fee? Also am I filing online right away?

There isn't a fee if you use a credit card or debit card to pay your TurboTax fees.  If you submit your tax return with the e-file option, it will electronically be sent over to the IRS right away.  The IRS could take up to 48 hours to accept or reject your tax return.
