When using the TurboTax online editions of Deluxe or Premium the state program is currently an additional $39.

There is are no e-file fees when using the online editions.

When using the TurboTax online editions the state program has Always been an extra charge.

When using the TurboTax desktop editions of Deluxe, Premier, Home & Business, the state program has always been included in the purchase price, for those edition purchased directly from TurboTax.

There is a $25 state e-file fee when e-filing a state tax return when using the TurboTax desktop editions.  This e-file fee, at different rates, has been in the desktop editions for at  least 25+ years.
