Does the name match what’s on the SS card? It happened to me too, but it was because I put Davis instead of Schoby-Davis. Which is the name on his SS card.

The IRS gets SSN's from the Social Security Administration. If the IRS has it wrong somehow, it has to be corrected by SS, so contact SS about this problem. If it is wrong in the system, it will continue to reject. When your return is being rejected, it is being rejected by the IRS.
