Is there a way that I can have my check reissued and directly deposited into my account, instead?

Accidentally, I put a suffix on my name when I filled out my tax information. Now my bank won't allow me to deposit/cash my check.

You will have to contact the IRS and ask them to reissue the check. Contact an IRS customer service representative to correct any agency errors by calling 800-829-1040 (toll-free) Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., local time (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Puerto Rico, local time).
