Our business has "Consultants" in its name. We perform engineering evaluations and tasks on-site.
Due to this, we do not believe we are a SSTB. But our concern is that "Consultants" in our name will automatically raise red flags.

The FAQ listed below should help show you if you qualify. My own opinion is if you are in business with a profit motive, and you are within the income limits, you qualify. Simply having consulting as part of your business function would not disqualify you. A plumbing supply house may qualify and I am sure they consult on the types of fixtures and piping that may be necessary for a job.
