Is anyone having issues filling out the numbers on the SC1040 section for state returns? It will not take my numbers input

Please define what area of the interview you are working on.

OR...did you mis-select telling us what software you are using, and are actually using the Desktop/download software?

...AND...if you are using the Desktop/download software...you don't make entries directly on the SC1040.

95% of the entries on the SC1040 come from entries in the Federal Interview section.......and are mostly fed in from other background worksheets.

Direct entry in desktop Forms Mode, are only used in very rare instances to correct certain rare issues, and only in certain boxes where changes are allowed.
