You received an email that we cannot see that tells you why your tax return was rejected.
Some rejected returns can be fixed and re-filed. Some have “un-fixable” reasons for the rejection and have to be mailed instead. What is the rejection code or rejection message?
If it was rejected for AGI—-be aware that many 2019 returns took so long for the IRS to process that your 2019 AGI might not be in the IRS system. Try using zero instead.
If filing with zero is rejected then file again but select the option that you did not file last year. The IRS does not see that question and it will allow you to e-file with no AGI question.
Or—-if you filed as a “non-filer” just to get the stimulus check on a 2019 return, try using $1 as the AGI.

If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.
yes !! this is happening to me i cant figure out whats wrong
anybody else? yes it happens so often it is not funny.
Use another tax software package (except H&R and TurboTax) and it will go through.
My husband I filed jointly 2019 and doing the same this year. Our PIN are correct and the AGI is correct and picked up from last year's return. The AGI is showing the same for me and him, wondering should .00 one out?
I tried adding the .00 and that didn’t work either.

No don't enter the cents .00. You enter a single 0 zero for the AGI. As in $0.
So my original return was rejected due to an incorrect AGI with an error of:
ND-031-04 - The primary taxpayer's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year does not match IRS records.
changing it to 0 fixed this issue even though that’s not what is on the document retrieved from the irs site.
Thanks for the advice.
For anyone else reading this thread....
When did you file 2019? If it was late in the year or you mailed it, try putting in 0 (zero) for the AGI. And see, https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/what-if-i-entered-the-correct-agi-and-i-m-still-ge...

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

I filed on time last year but IRS delayed processing for MONTHS. Setting AGI to $0 worked for me even though previous year's AGI was correct in initial submission. Solved! Needs to be more widely broadcast.
