Is anyone else having an issue with Virginia form 760PY? It says a field is filled with incorrect data but the field is empty and this form doesn't even apply to me.

I had initially selected this option to see if it applied to me and realized it didn't. I went back and changed my status and now I'm not able to efile my taxes. It says a field has incorrect data in the spouse section but the field is empty and I don't even have a spouse.

First, delete the form. If you are using:

• Online: see How do I view and delete forms in TTO?
•  Desktop: If you are working in the cd/download TurboTax program:
  1. On the top right, there is a FORMS button. 
  2. Click on FORMS.
  3. Locate the form you want to delete.
  4. Click on the form name.
  5. Below the form, bottom left, select DELETE FORM button. For a mac, click the delete button on your keyboard.

If it continues, delete again and then log out or close your program. Wait a minute and then go back in.

I tried your suggestion and it didn't work.  I am receiving the following

"Deductions statement: educator smart wks ln b-sp should not have a value based on your filing status.."

For "Qualified educator expenses (from federal Educator Expenses Worksheet, Line 1)" I'm promoted to delete a value in the spouse column despite my filing status as single with no educator expenses to report.

My guess at this point is a glitch in the software as I have tried correcting previous forms, deleting forms, and starting over from scratch.
