If your S corp is a calendar-year filer and you did not request a filing extension, the deadline to file the S corp's 2025 tax return was March 16, 2026. The IRS might just be saying that the filing was late and is subject to a late-filing penalty. See page 5 of the Instructions for Form 1120-S to see how the interest and penalty is calculated, but in this case with the filing being about 19 days late (given the above assumptions) it would seem that the penalty would be something like $255 plus 5% of the tax due:
That's a pretty quick letter for a 2025 return. Be sure of the correct tax year on the letter. Are you sure the letter is about tax year 2025?
Do they say they didn't get the 2025 return or didn't receive a tax due payment?
What type of letter is it? There should be a LTR/CP number for the type in one of the corners.
What prduct are you using? There is something not clear in your posting. Underneath your question is a tag that shows you are using TurboTax Business for Windows. I'm not familiar with the business product, but in the personal products this is what I would do if I was using desktop TurboTax. Go into Forms Mode and look for 2 forms-- the Electronic Postmark and the Electronic Filing Instructions to see what they say about your return.
Or did you indicate the wrong product above? You said "when I log into TurboTax....". So are you using Online TurboTax? If so, and if you are using an online personal product, get a PDF of your return with all the worksheets, and look for those 2 pages I mentioned. Here's how:
NOTE: When you open your return back up, do not make any changes in it since it's already been filed. If you later have to amend the return, it has to start off exactly as it was when it was originally filed.
NOTE: Remember all PDF tax documents and tax data files are very sensitive files, since they contain your personal ID info, financial data, and possibly bank account numbers, etc. Be sure to store them safely and securely to guard against computer theft, hacking, etc.
Yes it is for 2025 - I am using TurboTax desktop S corp - no it isn't for my state taxes as those are fine. I found the history but it isn't very helpful - i did print out my taxes and it does have the 4/4 date I submitted - so I am going to send them that. I will probably use something else next year to do my taxes - I am not happy with turbotax - the programmers need to go back to school as it isn't user friendly - very poor design really.

Thank you - i had no idea about the March 15th date. Never saw that and just assumed it as 4/15 like all the others. Appreciate you taking the time. Kind regards
