IRS rejects electronic 2018 HOH return. Divorce was in 2018. Filed MfJ in 2017. I do NOT know AGI for 2017. Used zero $. Therefore, must I file my HOH as paper in 2018?

All is really said in initial question.  I don't have copy of 2017 MFJ from my ex-husband.  TT said to try zero, which I did, but IRS rejected return.  Seems, as much as I want to file electronically, I will have to file Paper.

If you still want to e-file, you can request a copy of your 2017 tax return directly from the IRS.

That tax returns belongs to you as much as it belongs to your ex-husband. It is a good idea to have a copy for your records.
