For the 3rd year in a row, IRS has rejected my Federal Tax Return when e-filing it. IND-031-04 Either the AGI OR Self-select PIN is wrong. I have confirmed that Both AGI from last year and PIN are correct with PIN being what I established when I opened a Turbo Tax account and began using TT to file ever since. I know that I can mail the returns but I prefer the quickest method for my refund, of course. Is there a way to RESET my PIN?

I had that same problem the last 2 years and was forced to mail my return, takes forever. Here is what you need to do, go to IRS web site and request an IP-PIN. The pin used in the tax program is a PIN but not the IRS IP-PIN. You will need to set up an IRS account or use your ID-ME acount if you have one. If you are filling a joint return, both will need a IP-PIN. once you have your(s) you can go to the tax program and select the tab "other tax situation" scroll down to IP-PIN and click on edit. enter your IP-PINS that they issued to you and refile your return. I just did this today and I received an email saying ACCEPTED.
I hope this works for you.

If you are referring to your IP PIN, you will need to contact the IRS. Please see How do I get my 6-digit IP PIN? for instructions.
No Monique, If you read the details of my question, I am clearly NOT talking about the Identity Protection PIN. I wrote that it is the signature id PIN established when I began using TT years/decade ago. IP PIN were not in use for those who want to add such additional safety measures until 2020.
Thank you VERY much for thoroughly reading my question TaxPapa101 and letting me know you had a similar experience.
So, I've now gone through the identity process to obtain an IP PIN & have re-efiled my federal return on TT. 🤞🏼 I realize now that a new IP PIN is required to be requested EACH tax season, Ugh! More security is a good thing, though, especially if it means I can resume successfully e-filing my tax returns.
Thanks much for your suggestion TaxPapa101! After I went through the process of obtaining an assigned IP PIN from IRS, my federal tax return has now been accepted. Yay!
