Irs is showing I didn’t file a return in 2021

If your 2021 Federal 1040 tax return was filed and approved, collect copies of your tax filings and contact the IRS.  

Telephone coverage at 1-800-829-1040 is one option.  Or you may want to set up a meeting at your local IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center.

If your 2021 Federal 1040 tax return was not filed or was not approved, was it filed through TurboTax?  If it was filed through TurboTax, are you able to access your tax return through your TurboTax account?  What does your TurboTax account say about your 2021 tax return?

Please clarify.

My account on turbo tax says it was accepted. I talked to a lady on here the other night and she said it clearly says rejected. I did do it through turbo tax. The 800 number you provided just gives me automated options that is no help. I’m having trouble reaching anyone at the irs to even schedule an appointment
