IRS is requesting more money due to stimulus check arriving after filing (filed as tax credit). Why is this not shown a rejection in turbo tax?

How?  Turbo Tax doesn't know if you got the second one after you filed.  And then it's too late anyway.  Only the IRS knows they sent it to you.

Turbo Tax is not affiliated with the IRS, meaning they are not the IRS

They are no more than a front end data entry tool to get your information to the IRS correctly and accurately.

How would Turbo Tax know that the 2nd stimulus was in the mail to you at the point you filed?????????
