Invalid fiscal year for state taxes

Having gotten to the end of putting in all of my info for Federal and New York state taxes, the program finds two "errors" on my NY IT-201, which are Invalid beginning and ending dates for the fiscal year on page 1 of the IT-201. I AM NOT TRYING TO FILE FOR A FISCAL YEAR. I have double and triple checked my entries on both Federal and State forms and I cannot figure out why it thinks I'm trying to file for a fiscal year. If I try to just ignore the "error" Turbo Tax won't let me file and just keeps asking me to fix the error.

I have always used Turbo Tax for filing and there have been no changes to my tax situation for this year that would make it different from past years. Why did this error trigger?

Fixed it myself by deleting the state portion of the return and doing it again from scratch, and thankfully it didn't erroneously flag for fiscal year again.
