Please help:
TurboTax asked for my W2 info box 1 is showing nothing as there is no Federal Tax on wages I earn from the State of CO as an in-home caregiver. However Box 16 shows almost $30K which is my CO state wages. Why am I not being charged state taxes by TurboTax?

Colorado income tax is based on federal taxable income. However, Colorado law provides for a number of modifications to federal taxable income that apply in the calculation of Colorado tax. The IHSS wages should not be taxable in Colorado. See Additions to Taxable Income.
