In free edition I am not seeing where or how to enter returns and allowances for schedule C?

Free Edition does not support Schedule C. If you have self-employment income you need online Premier or any version of the CD/download in order to prepare a Schedule C.

Except it does support schedule c or at least it lets me do anything else in schedule c except for this one form line…

@sshacter No. You cannot prepare a Schedule C with the Free Edition. If you need to prepare a Schedule C you need either online Premium or any version of the CD/download.

It will prompt you to upgrade. You need Premium version to enter Schedule C income and expenses. Deluxe will do income only.

So it is letting me do everything else in schedule c but would not let me finalize anything in the end?

TurboTax won't transmit a return with a Schedule C in the Free edition. It will prompt you to upgrade.
