If you are self-employed you will need to use TurboTax Self-employed (Online), or TurboTax Home and Business (Desktop) for yourself.

If you have a Corporation or a Partnership, you will need TurboTax Business.

Depending on exactly what you mom's taxes contain you may be able to use TurboTax Free Edition for her.
