See this TurboTax support FAQ for payment of federal taxes - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-payments/help/how-can-i-pay-my-federal-taxes/00/26212
In the File section of the program on Step 2, when taxes are owed, you are given several options on how to pay the taxes.
I'm asking because I received a 1099-k, but I'm not self-employed. I simply paid my owed taxes via PayPal.
Form 1099-K reports payments received from payment processors, like PayPal, and reports many types of income, but not payments you made. If the payment you received was not from work like your main job, or with the intent to earn money, enter the amount from Form 1099-K under Other Common Income. Be sure you answer the questions accurately for your situation.
If you paid taxes via PayPal that were for last year's return, you should have received an emailed receipt from PayPal to confirm your payment. Since these taxes were reported last year, you don't need to include them on this year's return.
