In 2016, the only income I received was $300 (from a local Food Co-op) for teaching two art history classes. There was no W-2 issued. How and where do I report this?
Should it be reported as hobby income? Something else?

If you want to report cash with no documentation, such as a W-2 or 1099-MISC,
- Click Federal Taxes > Wages & Income
- Scroll down to Less Common Income
- Go to the last selection, Miscellaneous Income and click Start
- Go to the last option, Other reportable income and click Start
- Answer Yes to Did you receive any other taxable income?
- Enter the description and then the amount.
