Using TurboTax 2025 Premier, trying to import 1099's from Fidelity Investments. It tells me the data has transferred and I should go back to the TurboTax software. Nothing is displayed on TurboTax. I thought the direct data exchange went live on 31 January and I should be able to import?

There is a Very STRANGE pop-up (maybe two of them) you have to accept....and you cannot use the BRAVE browser:
From Doug34:
"I initially ran into the same problem described by others here. The Intuit website declares success, but TurboTax doesn't get the document. In my case this was caused by the fact that I denied the Intuit site permission to access my local network. Choose Allow, and you should be fine. If you already denied permission, you will be stuck until you reset this permission. In Chrome on Windows, you can do this by clicking on the View Site Information icon just to the left of the address bar. Turn on Local Network Access and try again. This solved the problem for me."
Thank you. Steps provided worked well and I was able to import my Fidelity data.
I've been experiencing the same exact problem for days and was about to give up. Past year versions of TurboTax did this effortlessly! But then I tried the steps outlined in replies to this post and it worked! I'm not sure if it was the local site access permission, or cookie deletion, or what. I also signed out then back into my Google account used by the Chrome browser. In any case, it finally worked! Hooray.
