I was able to import 1099 forms from some brokers, but when doing that for Schwab, the screen doesn't show any account name and password fields. On the other hand, other brokerage firms, like eTrade, have that. Please see the following.
Could you please advise? Thanks.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
On that screen, you need to click the continue button. It will then prompt you to log in to your TurboTax account. Once you do that you will see a screen that says " Let's import your tax info" go ahead and click the blue "Get My Form" button and then the Schwab login screen will appear.
Thanks for your response! I follow your instructions, and was able to reach the login screen, yet saw the following error message. From other threads I realize others seem to encounter the same problem.
Do you have an ETA for the fix? Thanks.
