I imported my financial institutions documents to populate Interest and Dividends and Investment Income. When updating in Easy Step Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other “needs review,” the program “does not respond” on both the Windows and Mac platforms. Technical support thought it was internet connection and windows updates for windows. After connecting my laptop to Ethernet and downloading the program after windows updates, the program continued to “not respond” when updating investment income. It updated the “needs review” for interest and dividends without exception on both platforms leading me to believe there is a program bug. Another reason I suspect a bug in the Easy Step program is the fact that the forms updated with all the data including Schedule D which is what Easy Step is trying to Update the “needs review.”
