Are you using the CD/download you purchased? Did you enter the license code when you downloaded the software? Did you end up adding extra state software in addition to the software you purchased from Costco? Or did you go online and use online software by mistake instead of using the CD/download? Sometimes we see confused users who do that. You do not "log in" to use the CD/download.
If you are using online, you are using the wrong program. You need to switch to the desktop software to get what you paid for. You have to download it, update it and open it up from your own hard drive to use it.
