I received a 1099-misc form after I filled my taxes. What do I have to do?

I though the company had included all my income in my W2, but I received a 1099-misc after I had filled. Can I still add it?

If your return has been rejected by the IRS, all you will have to do is make the changes on your return and refile.

If your return has been already accepted by the IRS, you will have to file an amended return (1040X) to add the 1099-Misc. The IRS will only accept amended returns via mail.
