If your ex has already filed their return and claimed your daughter on their return you have two options:
If you choose to Print and Mail your return, it may take a bit longer for them to process your return than normal as they will request additional information from both you and your ex. You will need to respond to the IRS providing any documentation they are requesting. You may also choose to contact the IRS prior to mailing in your return to discuss sending in documentation with your tax return to potentially speed up the process.
