My federal returns were accepted early. Now what?

when I go to the IRS website, the status bar is now missing to tell me if my return has been approved.

If you received confirmation that your refund was accepted then now you are just waiting for it to be approved by the IRS. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to go from acceptance to approval. Once approved, you may track your refund by using the link below:
