Can i file my daughters taxes using the software i used to do my taxes

If you purchased the TurboTax CD/Download software (also called the desktop product), you may use it to e-file up to 5 federal returns at no extra cost. However, you can only prepare and e-file one federal return using a TurboTax Online account. If you want to use the online product to file your daughter's tax return, you will need to create a separate online account for her, with its own user id and password.
