If you purchase the wrong product does it allow you to upgrade?

Yes, there is an upgrade option on the bottom of the window as well as in the tool section.

 I purchased intuit turbotax deluxe and I realize I really need premier to help stocks and bond sale.   How much is it to upgrade to that version once I have loaded the package?  I tried to return it to store and they won't accept it for some reason to exchange for the upgraded package even though it is unopened.

Click upgrade on the tool bar at the top of your TT software screen.   You will just pay the difference between TT's price for Deluxe and Premier when you upgrade.    Do NOT accept the offer to pay the upgrade fee from your federal refund or they will add on an extra $40 refund processing fee.  Just pay the upgrade fee with a credit or debit card before you file.
