I can't tell if my state taxes were filed yesterday or if it was just my federal?

If you log back into your Online account your e-file status will immediately show. It will inform you if your Federal and/or State return(s) were successfully filed. You can also go to our e-file status lookup tool to get your current status (pending, accepted, or rejected).

The IRS will not begin accepting returns until January 29, 2018. If you file your return in TurboTax before January 29, we'll hold your return and submit it at that time.

Your tax return(s) may show a pending status at this point. Pending simply means that your e-filed return is on its way and that the government hasn't accepted or rejected it yet. See additional information below:

If you determine that your Federal tax return was filed and not the State return, you will need to wait until your Federal return is accepted before completing your State Tax return. You can then follow the instructions below to complete the State return:
