I filed for unemployment benefits in Dec 2017. Got payment in Jan 2018. Should I file as income on 2017 return? I don't have a 1099G

If you got the payment in 2018 and did not received any 1099G for 2017, then you cannot report that income for 2017.

If you got the payment in 2018 and did not received any 1099G for 2017, then you cannot report that income for 2017.
