If you get both divorced and married (to a different spouse) in the same calendar year, which would you choose as your marital status for the year?

Married.  Martial status for the year is what you were on Dec 31, 2021.

Married filing jointly is usually best. however, we know nothing about your spouse or you. there may be situations where married filing separately would be best

You will file as married filing jointly or married filing separately with the spouse to whom you were married at the end of 2021.   NOTHING about your "ex" spouse goes on your return.
