If you did not file a tax return last year or if someone else claimed you as a dependent, you can enter 0 as your AGI to verify your identity with the IRS.  The IRS has discontinued the use of the Self-Select PIN.  If for some reason you can't get your return to go through with 0 as the AGI, you may have to mail in a paper return for this year.
