I do not want to claim homstead yet it keeps wanting me to answer questions for it and wont let me efile til i fill it out

If you choose to, you can delete the form from your return by doing the following:

• Log into your account, and then click on My Account on the top of the screen
• Then click on Tools and select Delete a Form
• Scroll through the list of forms and when you find the Homestead credit form, click Delete next to it
• It will confirm that you want to delete the form, hit yes (or continue)
• The form will be deleted
