I was charged $53.42 for efile of state taxes, but the efile window was closed.

Can I get a refund for the state efiles that were never submitted by TurboTax. I was not aware that the window for efile had expired and TurboTax charged me anyway.

If you are using the TurboTax 2016 desktop editions the software would have informed that e-filing was closed if you tried to e-file after October 16, 2017.

If your credit card was charged for e-filing state tax returns and you were unable to e-file then you will need to contact TurboTax support for a refund.

Use this website to contact TurboTax support during business hours - https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/

Use the key words billing issues when entering your problem and do not use the word refund.
