I moved to USA for work in Dec2015 from India, and I still hold my India bank account to support my family and transfer my earnings. Do I need to declare this bank a/c?

I donot have any earnings back in India

if you moved to the US in DEcember on a visa, you are a nonresident alien and would not have to report foreign accounts, but you can also not use Turbotax

If you are a non-resident alien, you must file a 1040NR. TurboTax does not handle this form and you are not required to disclose your account. To complete a 1040NR, see the link below.

https://www.irs.gov/uac/Form-1040NR,-U.S.-Nonresident-Alien-Income-Tax-Return

If you are a resident alien, you must report the account in India in Part III of Schedule B.

You also may be required to file U. S. Treasury Department Form FinCEN 114, Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR). This form replaces form TD F 90-22.1, is not available in TurboTax or from the IRS, and is not filed with your tax return.

For more information on declaring your account, see the FAQ below.
