We'd love to help you, but need more information. Can you please clarify your question?
To clarify on this question. I did not have an account for the refund to be deposited in but there was an account number already there and trhe system skipped over the account area and I was not able to change the account number, which I know is not mine. therefore where will the refund go if that is not my account?
If there was an account already listed, it was probably the same account as last year. You can review your tax return to see what bank account info was entered. To view your tax return in TurboTax Online, navigate to Documents on the left of your screen, then choose Tax returns and docs.
If the account is not correct, call the IRS to stop the payment. They'll send you a form in the mail to provide correct information to update the direct deposit.
