Are you saying that you went to Federal->Wages & Income->IRA, 401(k), Retirement Plans and Social Security and click on Start or Revisit for "Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)"? And then you added a 1099-R? And then when you came to the screen entitled "Tell Us Which 1099-R You Have" that you picked the option "CSA-1099-R, Civil Service annuity"?
On the next screen, you should see "Confirm Payer Information", and the payer should be pre-filled in with "Office of Personnel Management". And on the screen after that, there should be a box 7 - in fact, there is box 7a and 7b, both of which have pull-down menus from which you can select "3-Disability". (you just need to do box 7a).
Are you saying that you made the navigation in the first paragraph but don't see box 7 referred to in the second paragraph?
If not, then don't change try to change the 1099-R but delete it and re-add it.
