If the E-File is free, why was I charged $117? My refund amount is different from the money deposited.

Efiling is free and included.  But you are posting from the Deluxe version.  Deluxe is $39 for Federal and another 39 for state.  The fees are to prepare the returns wether you efile or print and mail.   Then if you want the fees deducted from your federal refund there is an Extra $39 Pay with Refund service charge.
