Yes, you can still file your own tax
return and receive a refund of the
taxes withheld or balance owed. However, if your sibling claim you as a
dependent, (as long as the Dependent rules are met). Then you must indicate on your tax return
that you can be claimed as a dependent on someone else's return (usually in the personal information section).
