If my wife and i file jointly, why was return rejected because wife agi was incorrect? It was joint filing and there wasnt an agi for wife?

the 2017 AGI is the same for both of you if you filed a joint tax return in 2017

If you filed jointly last year, the AGI is the SAME for both of you, it is not allocated between the two of you.

All you need to do is go back in and put the same AGI for her as you did yourself and your return should go through fine.
