If my state taxes won't let me submit them as it is saying I need to enter my spouses information. I am not married, I am filing single and head of household. What do?

I rechecked my personal information and it says single head of household.  What or how can I get this fixed?

I am filing single head of household as I always have the past 15 plus years.  I've never run into this issue before.  It states I have an issue with my state refund and sends me back to a screen asking fornny spouses information.  I don't have a spouse

It sounds like you may have checked something in the Personal Info section that states that "martial situation is complicated" or something like that, it would have been a checkbox, that might indicate a spouse. I would suggest double-checking your Personal Info entries. 

After checking that, if it's all correct, please reach back out here and let us know.

Hi, so I checked and rechecked all of personal information.   Nowhere do I see a check for being married as a status.  I have filing single and head of household.
