If my son was born August 2021, what would I count his time living with me as? As of today, Jan. 22 he's 5 months old but the site says to click "yes" since born in 2021?

Say he lived with you the WHOLE YEAR. You have to say that for a newborn. The screens for entering him as a dependent tell you that. In order to get the child-related credits for a newborn, even if he was born on December 31, you say he lived with you the whole year. Make sure you entered his Social Security number.

There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support. Say NO to that question.
