If my husband owes alimony, can they take our taxes if we file jointly?

My husband is on disability and has his alimony taken out monthly but for some reason they missed a month and now they are saying they are going to take our income tax.

You can try to file a injured spouse form.  If you have income you can protect your part of the Refund.

Ok ... just my opinion ... if you agree you owe it and if it not yet paid then having it paid with your refund is a good way to catch up ... just let them take it.
